"A fabulous collaboration of true to life tales with a power bluesy and folksy foundation. We have thigh slapped and toe tapped our way through Cowley Road Songs for the past week now and there has been an outstanding response – some have made references that nod in the direction of Jeff Buckley (phew). Cowley Road Songs is an ideal vehicle to savour the unexpected flavour of Doug Hodges powerful, and sometimes theatrical vocal agility based upon quality musical arrangements and songs that punch with meaning and emotion. Everyone involved should be truly proud …let’s hope this is not a criminally overlooked masterpiece …........spread the word."

We went into the Blue Moon Studios in Banbury for just four days. This is what we came out with...”
