O WHAT A NIGHT

WELL i dont think ive ever experienced anything like that in my professional life. what a night. every now and then id see the cast in the wings gathering round - and the reaction from the audience - even when i was at the globe with people fainting all around from the blood and gore and even some of the craziest nights of guys and dolls couldnt match that extreme emotion. all i could replay of course was inverting some of the words in I am.... singing feather before spangle! why on earth did i do that? im not sure many would have noticed but of course it was about the only thing i could think of. and so its over - this part of this extraordinary journey. ive rehearsed for a week with kelsey grammer a couple of weeks ago - and while seeming unfaithful to denis -my god he is going to be absolutely wonderful So funny, such great theatre instincts and.. a beautiful baritone to boot.im here in england for 7 more weeks - i fly out march the first - 5 weeks rehearsal and then april the 8th or thereabouts... on we go - hopefully for six months of even more madness. so many people have already said theyre coming out - if u know what i mean - look forward to seeing all those shining faces there in the bigapple. xxx
