IM HERE - up by central park. being very very well looked after indeed. arrived in the pitted snow. walked thru a week of monsoon rain. the cast all thrilling. the cagelles are,.... fierce. i seem to know so many people here - never a dull moment. we done three weeks rehearsal - its slowly slowly taking shape, dunno if my accent, my humour, my timing, my... stuff... will land here. just trying to keep it as honest as poss. have been to see a show a night. we're rehearsing just off times square - so u feel like ur in a movie. come and watch those dancin feet...

nearly got swept away ( again ) in the thames this mornin - force 4 gales an all - and more of that anon but meanwhile i just got my orders to report for rehearsals with that old poof denis lawson - we've gone for two weeks rehearsals and then a rather embarrasin squeeze into them old costumes to grab this show back and get up to speed for broadway. november 20th to january 2nd and then its closin in england so i bloody hope i see you all there for that final party. x x x

almost there. im off to cambridge on friday to master the album. its taken.... lets see 5 days to mix it.. seven days to record. a LIVE album more or less. 12 songs. some of the mixes are up on myspace. coupla weeks and ill have it in my hands. do hope you like these songs that are coming. xxxxxxxxxxxx

well here i am back in the masculine - so many comments re la cage.. thanku. theres nothing odder than moving on and knowing the rest of the cast are still there doing the show. With a play this never really happens - you all finish together - if you know what i mean - its odd to think of my cagelles still doing their stuff with someone else... and even odder at home at half past seven when you still get that surge of adrenalin with nowhere to put it.

happy new year. just been reading all these comments - thankyou so much. ... so that temporary blip for new year week is please god over and im back. denis lawson is still off but hopefully back soon. meanwhile rob and duncan his understudies did an amazing job this weekend. 8 shows a week, in the winter, extra xmas shows, royal variety extra rehearsals...kids bringing home coughs to try on, travellin on the tube like steppin into a consumption ward - its all pretty predictable and i spose unavoidable but hopefully now we'll all be well and can storm to the finish line on 17th jan.
